Editor & Assistant Editor
Second Rodeo Productions are hunting for an LA Local Editor and/or Assistant Editor to come in for our latest project, PLAYBACK. We are aiming to raise the quality in verticals and have done so with The Diamond Rose. With Playback, we are raising the bar even more with a musical. All music is original from a fabulous songwriter.
While we strive for the best and aim for the stars, our budgets are modest. For the role of Editor we are looking for someone to deliver 2-3 cuts with picture lock by January 19th and final renders the week of February 9th for a flat fee of $5,000. I know that is under the standard, so we are looking for someone to take a chance on our team and grow with us in the future.
Because of this medium and the tight turnaround, I want to be extra clear on experience and style:
previous narrative work (not necessarily vertical)
quick cuts
instinct for finding those special acting takes that light up a scene
can apply notes efficiently and quickly
takes this medium seriously
For an AE for a weeks worth of work, we can only afford $1,000 flat. And would need to understand the DeVince Resolve system.
